AFR successfully upgraded the windows of this Outer Sunset home, balancing historical accuracy with modern performance. By utilizing custom-made wood windows from Pella, we precisely matched the original front facade’s aesthetic, preserving the home’s architectural charm. The dual-paned, high-performance glass with low-e coatings provided exceptional weatherization and sound control, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency.

For the non-street-facing sides, we installed high-performance, low-maintenance windows that meet modern standards while ensuring durability. As always, AFR adhered to San Francisco Planning Department approvals, ensuring all products aligned with the building’s original style and intent. This project showcases AFR’s commitment to precision and performance in every detail.
