Franklin Street

AFR was entrusted with preserving the architectural integrity of a historic building on Franklin Street by replacing old, non-functioning windows with historically accurate, double-glazed wood windows. In close collaboration with the San Francisco Planning Department, we ensured that every detail, from window shapes to profiles and methods of operation, adhered to the building’s original design while meeting modern performance standards. The result is a seamless integration of energy-efficient, sound-limiting, and fully functional windows that enhance both comfort and preservation.
